Employment Benefits
D.H. Blattner & Sons, Inc. offers a generous compensation and benefits package to our employees, demonstrating that we value our team members. Employee benefits are based on each employee's employment classification.
The following benefits are available to both salaried and hourly employees not subject to collective bargaining agreements.
Health Insurance D. H. Blattner & Sons, Inc. provides a major medical insurance plan for its employees, and pays 100% of the premium for the employee's coverage. Dependent coverage is available. PPO networks may be available depending on the work location. The medical plans also include a prescription drug card.
Life Insurance D. H. Blattner & Sons, Inc. pays 100% of the premium for the life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment benefit.
Retirement Plan Benefits D. H. Blattner & Sons, Inc. offers a 401k plan to its employees, and matches a portion of the employee's deferral up to 6%. The company's matching contributions are vested based on a 4-year vesting schedule. At some of our projects employees may participate in an alternative retirement plan. All contributions to this alternative retirement plan are immediately 100% vested.
Direct Deposit D. H. Blattner & Sons, Inc. employees are paid weekly. No matter where our projects may take our employees, their paycheck can be deposited directly into their account and be available for them each Friday.
Safety Incentive Program Blattner's safety incentive program is designed to encourage employees to achieve outlined corporate and project goals by attaining "Zero" accidents and incidents and by meeting project specific goals.
Employee Assistance Program - D.H. Blattner & Sons, Inc.'s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is intended to provide employees of the company and their immediate family members with a service to assist the employee/family member with personal, social, financial, legal or other human service problems that may be causing disruptions to the individual's life or job performance.
Years of Service Recognition - D.H. Blattner & Sons, Inc.'s Years of Service Recognition Program recognizes the loyalty and length of service of our employees by presenting employees with an award to express our gratitude for his/her contribution to the company.
Awards are presented to the employee when he/she reaches the following milestones: 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service.
